1. Remove the components in the numbered order shown in the figure.

Note: use a special tool or device.


2. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
  • Clean the visible parts of the piston.
  • Slowly rotate the piston using a special tool, fully press the piston into the cylinder so that the piston grooves are set in the position shown in the figure.

  • Install the caliper.

3. After installation, press the brake pedal several times and check the following:
  • The brake pad projections are securely inserted into the piston grooves.
  • Parking brake lever travel.
  • Brakes sticking.
