Attention.
- Adjust first the imbalance on the outside of the wheel and then on the inside.
- Be careful not to scratch the rim.
Self-adhesive balance weights (outdoor)
1. Remove the old balance weight from the wheel.
2. Remove the remnants of double-sided tape from the rim, clean and degrease the area where the weight is attached.
3. Install the wheel on the balance stand, measure the amount of unbalance and the position in the installation mode of the stuffed balance weight.
4. Multiply the unbalance value by 1.6 to get the balance weight value.
5. Select a balancing weight with the weight closest to the calculated value and install the weight (outside) to the position indicated by the stand.
An example of calculating the mass of a balancing weight:
- Displayed unbalance value: 23 g
- 23 g x 1.6 = 36.8 g
- Weight of the selected balancing weight: 35 g.
Note: When selecting a balancing weight, choose the closest value to the calculated value. For example: 32.4 g = 30 g.
Attention.
- Use original balance weights or equivalent (steel).
- When connecting a weight, press it down with a force of 25 N for every 5 g of mass for two seconds or longer.
6. If two balancing weights are connected, place them one after the other on both sides of the position marked by the balancing stand.
Attention.
- Do not install balance weights in a row.
- Do not overlap balance weights.
- The total weight of the balancing weights must not exceed 160 g.
Stuffed balance weights (internal)
1. Using a balancing stand, measure the amount of unbalance.
2. Set the weight corresponding to the measured value to the position (from within), indicated by the balancing stand.
Attention.
- Do not install three or more balance weights.
- The mass of one balance weight must not exceed 60 g, and the total weight of two balance weights must not exceed 100 g.
Residual value confirmatory balancing
1. After installing the outer and inner weights, turn on the balancer again.
2. Make sure that the residual unbalance does not exceed the following values on both sides. If the residual imbalance is out of specification, rebalance the wheel.
