Attention. Observe safety measures when working with the engine cooling system.
1. Check the coolant level.
2. Remove the engine cooling system cover.
3. Install the cooling system cap tester on the radiator filler neck.
4. Pressurize 122.6 kPa using a cooling system cap tester (1.250 kg/cm2).
Attention. Supply pressure above 122.6 kPa (1.250 kg/cm2) can damage hoses, connections, and other components of the cooling system, causing leaks.
5. After creating the desired pressure in the system, make sure that the pressure is maintained at the same level. If the pressure gauge needle drops, this indicates a leak in the cooling system. Repair or replace defective parts.
