Attention: Observe safety precautions when working with the engine cooling system.
1. Clean the cooling system cover and sealing surfaces.
2. Check the cooling system cover for cracks or loose seals. If any defects are found, replace the cooling system cover with a new one.
3. Connect the cooling system cover to the testing device.
4. While pressing the cooling system cap, gradually build up pressure and make sure that the pressure is maintained stably for 10 seconds. If the pressure is not maintained, replace the cooling system cap.
Note: Opening pressure of the steam valve of the refrigeration system: 93.2-122.6 kPa (0.951-1.250 kg/cm²).
