Note: If the accelerator pedal is continuously depressed for a certain amount of time, the engine speed may drop to idle. This is due to the fuel cut control function to prevent engine overheating and is not a malfunction. The engine speed is restored to normal when the accelerator pedal is released.
1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2 connector.
2. Move the shift lever (ITUC) or selector lever (AKP) into the following positions:
- MCP: shift lever to neutral position.
- Automatic transmission: selector lever in position P or N.
Note: Coolant and engine oil temperatures can be determined using the M-MDS in sections «EATING» And «OIL_TEMP».
3. Start the engine at a speed of 2500-3000 rpm and warm up to operating temperature (coolant temperature: 80°C or higher; oil temperature: 60°C or higher).
4. Turn off all electrical consumers and leave the engine to idle.
5. If the radiator fan is running, wait for it to stop.
