Note:
- The idle speed is not adjustable.
- The M-MDS device is used to check the idle speed.
1. Prepare for engine parameter checks.
2. Make sure that the difference between the nominal (M-MDS: "ARPMDES") and actual (M-MDS: "RPM") engine speed at idle does not exceed 50 rpm. If any deviations from the norm are detected, it is necessary to perform a more detailed diagnosis and eliminate the malfunction.
Note: Nominal idle speed:
A) Manual transmission:
- Normal: 750 rpm
- With automatic regeneration of the diesel particulate filter: 775 rpm
- When training fuel injectors: 775 rpm
B) Automatic transmission:
- Normal: 800 rpm
- With automatic regeneration of the diesel particulate filter: 800 rpm
- When training fuel injectors: 775 rpm
