Attention.
- A hot engine can cause burns. Before starting work, turn off the engine and wait until it cools down.
- If the rubber part of the automatic drive belt tensioner is damaged by a screwdriver or other tool, oil from the hydraulic pressure unit may leak out, causing the tensioner to fail. will stop working properly. Be careful not to damage the rubber part of the automatic tensioner, drive belt.
1. Remove the implement drive belt.
Attention. To prevent damage to the automatic drive belt tensioner, do not apply excessive force after turning the tensioner all the way.
2. Insert the wrench on the hexagon of the automatic drive belt tensioner, and, slowly turning in the direction of the arrow in the figure, fully compress the tensioner.
Note: The automatic drive belt tensioner can be compressed and decompressed by turning the key.
3. Check that the automatic drive belt tensioner moves smoothly in the working direction. If this is not the case, then air has entered the tensioner hydraulic pressure block. To remove air, squeeze and unclench the automatic tensioner three times from lock to lock. If the auto tensioner still does not move smoothly after bleeding, replace it with a new one.
Note: In the process of compressing / unclenching the automatic tensioner from lock to lock, the piston inside the tensioner moves, expelling air.
4. Turn the drive belt auto-tensioner pulley by hand to make sure it rotates smoothly. If not, replace the drive belt auto-tensioner with a new one.
5. Install implement drive belt.
