Checking the transfer case oil level (Mazda CX-5KE)

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.

2. Remove the plug with washer from the level check hole.

3. Make sure that the oil level is at the lower edge of the inspection hole.

4. If the oil level is below the norm, add oil of the required grade through the inspection hole until it starts to leak.

5. Tighten the inspection hole plug with a new washer to a torque of 40-58 Nm.

Note: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
