Checking the level



1. Place the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface.

2. Unscrew the filler plug and remove the gasket.

3. Make sure that the working fluid level is at the lower edge of the filler hole.

If necessary, top up the working fluid level to the established norm.
  • Working fluid - Mercon® Multi-purpose AFT
  • Catalogue number (part number) — XT-2-QDX

4. Install a new gasket on the filler plug and tighten the plug.
  • Tightening torque - 39 - 59 Nm

Replacement



Note: Although the manufacturer's recommended replacement interval for the working fluid is 100,000 km, it is recommended to replace the fluid more frequently (approximately 60,000-75,000 km).

2. Remove the lower protective cover of the transfer case (see section "Gearbox assembly").

3. Unscrew the drain plug and drain the working fluid from the transfer case.

  • Tightening torque - 39-59 Nm

5. Unscrew the filler plug and pour the working fluid into the transfer case.

  • Filling capacity - 1.85 l

6. Install a new gasket on the filler plug and tighten the filler plug.
  • Tightening torque - 39-59 Nm

7. Install the lower protective cover of the transfer case (see section "Gearbox assembly").
