Level check
1. Park the vehicle on a level, level surface.
2. Unscrew the fill plug and remove the washer.
3. Make sure that the oil level in the gearbox is at the level of the lower edge of the filler hole.
If necessary, bring the oil level up to the prescribed level. Note: For a gearbox with a limited slip differential, use a special limited slip differential oil.
Oil quality according to API:
- without limited slip differential - GL-5
- with limited slip differential - GL-6
Oil viscosity according to SAE - 90
4. Install a new washer on the filler plug and tighten the plug.
- Tightening torque - 40 - 53 Nm
Change of oil
1. Park the vehicle on a level, level surface.
2. Remove the drain plug and drain the gearbox oil.
3. Clean the drain plug.
4. Install a new washer and tighten the drain plug.
- Tightening torque - 40 - 53 Nm
5. Unscrew the filler plug, fill the gearbox with oil.
Note: For a gearbox with a limited slip differential, use a special limited slip differential oil.
Oil quality according to API:
- without limited slip differential - GL-5
- with limited slip differential - GL-6
Oil viscosity according to SAE - 90
Filling capacity:
- Reducer without limited slip differential - 2.55 - 2.55 liters
- Reducer with limited slip differential - 2.25 - 2.45 liters
6. Make sure the oil level is correct.
7. Install a new washer on the filler plug and tighten the plug.
- Tightening torque - 40 - 53 Nm
