Replacing the right oil seal No. 3 of the transfer case (Mazda CX-5KE)

1. Drain the transfer case oil.

2. Remove the right front drive shaft.

3. Remove the right oil seal No.1 of the transfer case.

4. Remove the seal using a flat-head screwdriver wrapped in electrical tape.



5. Using a mandrel and a hammer, press in the new seal.



6. Apply fresh transfer case oil to the seal lips.

7. Install the right oil seal No.1 of the transfer case.

8. Install the right front drive shaft.

9. Fill the transfer case with oil.
