This operation is performed on a press after removing the steering knuckle.
Removal
Place the front of the vehicle on stands and remove the wheel from the desired side.
Unlock and unscrew the nut securing the outer joint of the wheel drive shaft to the hub.
To make it easier to remove the nut, block the wheel hub by pressing the brake pedal.
Remove the cotter pin and unscrew the nut securing the ball joint of the steering rod to the steering knuckle. Using a universal puller, press out the ball joint.
Loosen the bolts securing the brake caliper to the steering knuckle, hang the caliper assembly with the pads on a technical hook to the body so that the hose is not loaded.
Disconnect the suspension arm ball joint from the steering knuckle by removing the pinch bolt.
Disconnect the suspension strut from the steering knuckle.
Slide the knuckle off the outer joint of the wheel drive shaft and remove the steering knuckle.
Disconnect the brake disc assembly with the hub from the steering knuckle using puller 49 G030 725 and support 49 G030 727.

Disconnect the brake disc from the hub by unscrewing the four mounting bolts.
Press out the roller bearings using mandrels of the appropriate diameter and the mud-deflecting rings.
Installation
Press in the roller bearings and mudguard rings, adjust the preload of the hub roller bearings.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, tightening the threaded connections to the required torques.
