Air filter
Air filter with replaceable filter element. Filter element replacement frequency: every 45,000 km.
Fuel tank
The fuel tank is stamped from sheet steel and located under the floor of the car in front of the rear axle.
Fuel tank capacity, l: 45.
Fuel used: SUPER brand gasoline.
Fuel injection system
The B6 and B6 EGI engines use a version of the L-Jetronic intermittent fuel injection system with electronic control, electromagnetic injectors, automatic mixture enrichment on a cold engine and engine mode control via an additional air supply valve.
Fuel pump
The submersible fuel pump is installed in the fuel tank.
Fuel supply pressure, kg/cm²: 4.5-6.0.
Pump capacity, l/min:
- engine B6: 1.2;
- engine B6 EGI: 1.333.
Fuel filter
The fuel filter is installed on the front shield of the car under the hood on the left side. Replacement frequency: every 15,000 km.
Fuel pressure regulator
Fuel supply pressure at idle, kg/cm²:
- without turbocharger: 2.0-2.2;
- with vacuum hose: 2.5-2.8;
- with turbocharger: 1.7-2.2;
- without vacuum hose: 2.45-2.85.
Electromagnetic injection nozzles
Brand: DENSO.
Volume of injected fuel in 15 sec, cm³:
- engines without turbocharger: 48-57;
- engines with turbocharger: 66-82.
Winding resistance, Ohm: 12-16.
Air flow meter Brand: DENSO.
Data for adjustment
Crankshaft speed at idle, rpm:
- cars with manual transmission: 800-900;
- cars with automatic transmission: 900-1000.
Carbon monoxide (CO) content in exhaust gases, %:
- engines with turbocharger: 1.0-2.0;
- engines without a turbocharger: 1.5-2.5.
Turbocharger
Brand: IHI.
Boost pressure, no more than, kg/cm²: 0.56-0.60.
Boost pressure limiter response pressure, kg/cm²: 0.50-0.56.
Response pressure of the emergency air pressure sensor, kg/cm²: 0.73-0.81.
