Conservation
As often as required, the clean washed and dried lacquer coating should be covered with a weatherproof preservative with a pore-closing and water-repellent layer of wax.
Spilled fuel, oil, grease or brake fluid must be removed immediately, otherwise it will cause discoloration. Preservation should be repeated if the water does not reflect off the varnish, but flows down in large drops. Regular maintenance ensures that the original gloss is maintained for a long time.
Another possibility for varnish preservation is the use of preservatives when washing. Wash preservatives protect the paintwork if they are used with every wash and the wash is done at least once every 2-3 weeks. Use only preservatives containing synthetic wax or Carnauba wax.
Polishing
Polishing is required only if the varnish, due to insufficient care, has become unattractive due to exposure to dust, industrial gases, sunlight or rain. And shine is no longer achieved by the use of preservatives. Care should be taken not to use highly abrasive or chemically strong polishing agents, even if the first experience of use has been successful. Before each polishing, the car must be washed clean and thoroughly dried. For the rest, follow the instructions for use of the polishing agent.
Processing should be carried out in small areas to avoid premature drying of the polishing paste. Some polishes must be preserved. Do not polish in direct sunlight! Matte surfaces should not be preserved or polished.
Car elements made of light alloys do not require special care.
Removing resin stains
Resin stains corrode the varnish in a short time and then cannot be completely removed. Fresh stains can be removed with washing gasoline and a soft cloth. In extreme cases, you can use gasoline from the tank, kerosene or turpentine. Cleans resin stains very well with lacquer preservative. When using this product, there is no need for a subsequent wash.
Insect removal
Insect marks contain substances that can damage the lacquer film if not quickly removed. Tightly adhered, they are not removed only with water and a sponge, but should be washed off with a mild soapy solution. There are also special tools for removing traces of insects.
Removing drops of building materials
Wash off drops of any building materials with a weak solution of neutral detergent. Rub gently, otherwise you can scratch the varnish. Rinse thoroughly with clean water after washing.
Care of polymer parts
Polymer parts, artificial leather of seats, ceiling, glass of lamps and black matte parts should be cleaned with water and shampoo, do not wet the ceiling. If necessary, treat polymer parts with polymer cleaners. Never use solvents such as nitro thinner, cold cleaner or petrol.
Glass cleaning
Wipe the window glass inside and out with a clean, soft cloth. In case of severe pollution, alcohol and warm water or a special glass cleaner will help. Tilt the wipers forward when cleaning the windshield. When cleaning the windshield, the wiper blades should also be cleaned.
Attention! When using silicone-containing products, brushes, sponges and rags used for washing the varnish coating should not be used to clean the glass. When varnishing with silicone-containing products, the glass should be covered with cardboard or other material.
Caring for rubber seals
From time to time, rubber seals should be powdered with talc or coated with silicone spray. Thus, squeaks and noises when closing doors are eliminated. Noise also eliminates soap chafing on relevant surfaces.
Light metal wheel rims treat with a special cleaner, especially in winter, however, do not use aggressive, acid-containing cleaners at temperatures above +60°C.
Seat belts only clean with a mild soapy solution when installed, do not dry clean as this will destroy the base. Pull out automatic belts only when dry and, if necessary, treat with a special spray to facilitate their removal. Do not dry the belt at temperatures above +80°C or in direct sunlight.
