Removal
1. Remove the brake pads.
2. Loosen the union nut of the brake pipe on the wheel cylinder from the back side.
Attention! Brake fluid will leak out, place a specially designed container underneath. Follow the rules for handling brake fluid, see Section Bleeding the brake system.

3. Unscrew the 2 mounting bolts "1" of the wheel cylinder on the back side of the brake shield.
4. Remove the wheel brake cylinder.
5. Close the brake hose with a suitable plug to prevent large fluid loss and dirt penetration.
Installation
1. Install the wheel cylinder on the brake shield and tighten the 2 bolts with force 10 Nm.
2. Remove the plug and tighten the union nut of the brake pipe with force 20 Nm.
3. Install the brake pads.
4. Bleed the brake system. In this case, as a rule, it is enough to bleed only the cylinder where the pipeline was opened. If the brake pressure fluctuates after bleeding, the entire system should be bled.
5. Press the brake pedal hard several times. This adjusts the rear brakes.
