Removal
Caution: Release the pressure in the brake system by pressing the brake pedal at least 20 times.
Remove the brake drum.
Clamp the brake hose with suitable clamps. Be careful not to damage the brake hose with the sharp edges of the clamp.
Pull the brake shoes away from each other at the top (4) so that the brake cylinder is free and use the adjusting device to fix the shoes in this position.

Unscrew the two mounting bolts (arrows) securing the brake cylinder from the rear side of the brake mechanism plate.
Unscrew the brake cylinder from the brake hose.
Installation
Screw the new wheel brake cylinder with a new sealing ring onto the brake hose.
Install the wheel brake cylinder on the brake plate and secure with bolts. Make sure that the hose is not twisted or stretched.
Remove the clamp from the hose.
Press the ratchet lever of the adjusting device with a screwdriver, setting the brake pads to their previous position.
Install the brake drum.
Remove air from the brake system. In this case, it is enough to remove air from the wheel brake cylinder from which the brake pipe was disconnected. If after removing air the brake pedal is elastic, then remove air from the entire brake system.
Press the brake pedal several times to adjust the parking brake.
