In the brake system, tubes are used as pipelines, which, together with high-pressure hoses, provide the connection of the brakes to the master brake cylinder.
Brake hoses are flexible connections between fixed parts of a vehicle.
Removal
1. Raise the car.
2. Unscrew and remove the brake hose on the caliper or wheel brake cylinder.

3. Remove the mounting bracket on the shock absorber strut using pliers.
4. Unscrew the brake hose from the rigid pipe coupling.
5. Plug the line to the master brake cylinder with a suitable plug, or first pump out the brake fluid from the expansion tank using a suction device.
Installation
1. Install only factory-made brake hoses.
2. Screw the new brake hose onto the rigid pipe with force 20 Nm. This tightening torque also applies to other rigid pipe connections.

3. Install the new brake hose so that when the wheels are in the middle position it hangs down without twisting. Secure the brake hose with a clamp to the mount on the shock absorber strut.
4. Disc brakes: Screw the brake hose to the caliper with 2 new with force gaskets 30 Nm, while the pin on the connection must enter the hole on the support.

5. After installation with unloaded wheel (the car is lifted) check that the hose follows all the movements of the wheel and does not rub anywhere.
Caution! Do not allow oil or petrol to come into contact with the brake hoses, do not varnish them or cover them with underbody protection mastic.
6. Bleed the brake system, see Section Bleeding the brake system.
7. Lower the vehicle.
