Attention.
- A hot engine and engine oil can cause various burns. It is necessary to turn off the engine and wait until it cools down.
- A vehicle raised on a lift but not supported by safety stands is dangerous. It may jump off and fall, causing death or serious injury. Do not work around or under a raised vehicle that is not supported by safety stands.
- Prolonged skin contact with used motor oil can cause skin cancer. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water immediately after handling motor oil.
- If engine oil is spilled on exhaust system components, it must be wiped off immediately. Otherwise, after the exhaust system heats up, the spilled oil will cause unpleasant odors.
Gasoline engine
1. Cooling system hoses.
2. Oil radiator.
3. Gasket.
Note.
: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
: apply oil.
Removal the oil radiator
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
(Original version of the article on the website Mazbook)
2. Remove the front protective tray No.2.
3. Drain the engine coolant.
4. Disconnect the cooling system hoses from the oil radiator.
5. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the oil radiator from the engine.
6. Remove the oil cooler gasket.
7. Using a clean cloth, wipe the mounting surfaces of the housing

3. Install the oil cooler, aligning the protrusion with the groove in the oil filter housing.

4. Tighten the oil radiator mounting bolt to a torque of 34-40 Nm.
5. Connect the cooling system hoses.
6. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
7. Fill the engine with coolant.
8. Start the engine and check for oil leaks. If oil leaks are detected, repair or replace the relevant component.
9. Check the engine oil level.
10. Check the tightness of the cooling system (see the relevant section of the chapter "Cooling system").
Diesel engine
1. Cooling system hoses.
2. Oil radiator.
3. O-ring with circular cross-section.
Note.
: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
: apply oil.
Removal the oil radiator
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the front protective tray No.2.
3. Drain the engine coolant.
4. Remove the expansion tank of the cooling system.
5. Remove the inlet shut-off valve assembly.
6. Disconnect the cooling system hoses from the oil radiator.
7. Cover the area around the oil cooler as some oil will leak out from underneath when removed.
8. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the oil radiator from the engine.
9. Using a clean cloth, wipe the mounting surfaces of the oil filter housing and oil radiator.
Installing an oil radiator
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note: Tighten the oil cooler mounting bolts in the sequence shown in the figure to a torque of 8-11 Nm.

2. Fill the engine with coolant.
3. Start the engine and check for oil leaks. If oil leaks are detected, repair or replace the relevant component.
4. Check the engine oil level.
5. Check the tightness of the cooling system (see the relevant section of the chapter "Cooling system").
