Caution: If it is necessary to replace the piston or piston pin, replace the piston, piston pin and retaining rings as a set.
1. Using a micrometer, measure the outside diameter of the piston pin in eight positions - in the X and Y directions at four points (A, B, C and D), as shown in the figure.

Note: Standard piston pin outside diameter: 20.995-21.000mm.
2. Using a micrometer bore gauge, measure the diameter of the piston pin hole in eight positions - in the X and Y directions at four points (A, B, C and D), as shown in the figure.

Note: Standard piston pin bore diameter: 21.004-21.008mm.
3. Calculate the clearance between the piston pin and the hole in the piston. If the obtained value does not correspond to the norm, replace the piston or piston pin with a new one.
Note: Standard clearance between piston hole and piston pin: 0.004-0.013mm.
4. Using a bore micrometer, measure the inner diameter of the connecting rod upper head bore in the X and Y directions as shown in the figure.

Note: Standard connecting rod upper end bore inner diameter: 21.002-21.013mm.
5. Calculate the clearance between the connecting rod upper head hole and the piston pin. If the obtained value does not correspond to the norm, replace the connecting rod or the piston pin.
Note: Standard clearance between connecting rod upper head bore and piston pin: 0.002-0.018mm.
