Note: The transmission control unit is integrated into the valve body.


1. Make sure that the configuration procedure is necessary after replacing a particular part.

2. Connect the M-MDS device to the DLC-2 connector.

3. After identifying the vehicle, select M-MDS on the device screen "Module Programming" (programming module).

4. Then select the following options from the on-screen menu:
  • Choose "Programmable Module Installation" (installing a programmable module)
  • Select "TSM" (transmission control unit)

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the configuration procedure.

6. Make sure there are no stored fault codes.

Note: If there are any fault codes (U-codes) at the output, the system is normal.


7. Clear U-codes and check for output fault codes. If any fault codes other than U-codes are present, troubleshoot the corresponding fault.
