Attention.
- Do not drop or subject the automatic transmission electric oil pump to shock. If the pump has been dropped or hit, replace it with a new one.
- Do not disassemble the electric oil pump. If the pump has been disassembled, it must be replaced with a new one.
- Check that there is no silicone sealant or other foreign matter in the electric oil pump and gearbox. The presence of such contaminants can cause malfunctions.
1. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Remove the left mudguard.
4. Disconnect the electric oil pump connector, then unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the oil pump from the gearbox.
1. Electrical oil pump connector.
2. Electric transmission oil pump.
3. O-rings of circular cross-section.
Note: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
Apply a thin layer of silicone sealant (TV1217E) on the contact surfaces of the transmission electric oil pump and the end cap.
Attention.
- If the remains of the old sealant during the installation of the pump get on the side cover, a mismatch between the end cover and the oil pump may occur. Clean the contact surfaces with a cleaning compound.
- Be careful not to damage the contact surfaces and seating positions of the O-rings.
- Before applying the silicone sealant, the oil must be thoroughly removed from the contact surfaces.
Install the transmission electric oil pump before it begins to harden.
6. Adjust the automatic transmission fluid level.
