Checking the automatic transmission fluid level
Attention. If the automatic transmission fluid level is not correct, or there is no fluid at all on the dipstick after the engine warms up, the vehicle must not be driven. Otherwise, the gearbox may be damaged.
1. Loosen the probe fixing screw.
2. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2 connector and display the TFT PID.
3. Warm up the gearbox to the working fluid temperature of 50°C.
4. With the engine running at idle, remove the dipstick and use a nylon cloth to wipe the working fluid from it.
5. Insert the dipstick and remove it again.
6. Make sure that the automatic transmission fluid level is between the L and F marks on the dipstick.
7. If the automatic transmission fluid level is not between the L and F marks on the dipstick, adjust the level to normal.
Note. The automatic transmission fluid is blue. Use only ATF FZ automatic transmission fluid.
8. Insert the feeler gauge and tighten the fastening bolt to 8-11 Nm.
