2. Check the lower front suspension arm for deformation or damage, and the lower arm ball joint for looseness. If defects are found, replace the front suspension lower control arm.
3. Turn the ball joint pin of the lower arm of the front suspension five times. Install the special tool on the ball joint pin, and, using a torque wrench, measure the rotational resistance and breakaway torque. If the measured values are not correct, replace the lower front suspension arm with a new one.
Note:
- The moment of breaking off the ball joint of the lower arm of the front suspension: no more than 18 Nm.
- The moment of resistance to rotation of the ball joint of the lower arm of the front suspension: no more than 3.2 Nm.
