Removal
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery with the ignition off.
Note: This will erase the data from the electronic memory blocks. See the instructions in the chapter "Electrical equipment".
Remove the radio.
Unscrew two screws (1).
Unhook the control unit at the bottom (2).
Pull the cover slightly and remove the plug from the back.

Disconnect the air distribution control shaft and remove the control unit.
Remove the fan switch.
Installation
Insert the control unit, attach the air distribution control shaft.
Place the plug on the control switch.
Attach the control unit at the bottom and secure it with screws at the top.
Install a radio receiver.
Connect the negative cable to the battery. Set the clock, enter security codes if necessary.
Especially for Ford KA: the control unit is secured with one clamp and one screw.
