Removing
Attention: On vehicles with air conditioning, the refrigerant circuit must be opened to remove the fan (In workshop).
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery with the ignition off.
Attention: This will erase the data from the electronic memory blocks. See instructions in chapter «electrical equipment».

Remove the expansion tank of the cooling system. To do this, unscrew the bolt (1) and remove the expansion tank on the other side of the jumper (2).

Remove rubber seal.
Unhook the cover of the fuse box and remove it.

Unscrew the two cover screws on the bulkhead of the engine compartment.

Loosen two screws (1).
Disconnect plug (2).
Pry off the two clips from the cover on the bulkhead of the engine compartment.

Unscrew the screw on the right side of the partition (1).
Disconnect windshield washer hoses (2).

Unscrew the fixing screws and remove the filter housing for the air entering the passenger compartment.

Loosen the screws and remove the fan motor cover.

Loosen two screws.
Disconnect plug in front passenger footwell.
Take out the fan motor.
Installation
Insert the fan motor and slightly tighten its fastening bolts (torque 3 Nm).
Install the fan motor cover and fasten it with screws.
Install the intake air filter housing and tighten the fixing screws to 5 Nm.
Insert the cover on the bulkhead of the engine compartment, secure with screws and two clips.
Fit hoses for windshield washer.
Connect plug.
Install the fuse block cover.
Install the sealing rubber on the cover of the partition of the engine compartment.
Hook the expansion tank to the holder and secure with a bolt.
Connect the plug in the driver's footwell.
Connect the negative cable to the battery.
Set the clock, if necessary, enter the security codes.
Especially for Ford KA
To access the fan, remove the power steering reservoir. To do this, unscrew the two bolts, pull the tank forward and set it aside. The hoses remain connected.
Removing the filter housing for the air entering the passenger compartment and the fan is the same as for the Ford Fiesta / Mazda 121.
