Removal



Disconnect the negative cable from the battery with the ignition off.


Disconnect the negative cable from the battery with the ignition off.

Note: This will erase the data from the electronic memory blocks. See the instructions in the chapter "Electrical equipment".


Disconnect the plug from the load resistor in the front passenger footwell.

Unhook and remove the load resistor.

Installation



Attach the load resistor and put on the plug.

Connect the negative cable to the battery.

Set the clock readings and enter security codes if necessary.
