Disconnect the connector from the load control valve.

Connect the "ground" wire to the "BrY" pin (figure 14.27). If all electrical consumers are turned off, the engine idle speed should be 950–1000 rpm. ¹ Otherwise, adjust the valve by turning the adjusting screw.
Stop the engine and remove the tachometer.
Before connecting the ohmmeter connector, measure the resistance between the valve connector contacts. The resistance should be about 30 ohms.
