Make sure that when the accelerator pedal is fully released, the accelerator cable free play is 1.0–3.0 mm. If necessary, loosen the engine-side cable housing nuts and tighten the cable so that the free play is equal to the required value (figure 14.21). After adjustment, tighten the nuts.
Press the accelerator pedal fully and make sure the throttle valve is fully open. If necessary, adjust the position of the accelerator pedal limit bolt.
