Adjusting the position of the side doors (Mazda BT-50 (1))

1. Measure the gaps between the side doors and the vehicle body as shown in the figure "Adjusting the Position of the Side Doors" and compare the obtained data with the data below.



Gap:

• a — 3.5 - 6.5 mm
• b — -1.0 - 1.5 mm

2. If the measured values do not correspond to those specified, the position of the doors must be adjusted.

3. The door position is adjusted as follows:

• a) Loosen the door hinge bolts and adjust the position of the doors by moving them horizontally and vertically.
• b) If necessary, also loosen the screws securing the door lock brackets and adjust their position.
• c) After adjustment, tighten the bolts and screws securing the hinges and lock brackets.
