Removal
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the glove box.
3. Remove the central unit or radio.
4. Disconnect connector "A".
1 - connector "B",
2 - air conditioning and heating control panel.
5. Disconnect the air intake flap drive cable from the heater fan unit.
6. Disconnect the air flow direction change flap drive cable from the heater unit.
7. Press the latches and remove the air conditioning and heating control panel.
Installation
1. Connect the connectors to the air conditioner and heater control panel.
2. Insert the air conditioning and heating control panel until it clicks into place.
3. Connect and adjust the damper drive cables.
1 - air conditioning and heating control panel,
2 - air intake flap drive cable,
3 - air flow direction change flap drive cable.
4. Install the central unit or radio.
5. Install the glove box.
6. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
Disassembly and assembly
1. Disassemble the air conditioning and heating control panel in the sequence of numbers shown in the figure.
1 - panel,
2 - air flow direction change flap drive cable,
3 - air intake flap drive cable,
4 - air conditioner amplifier,
5 - heater fan control switch,
6 - wiring,
7 - suspension lamps,
8 - body.
2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
Adjusting the cables
Air Intake Flap Drive Cable
1. Set the regulator to the "FRESH" position.
2. Turn the air intake flap selector lever to the "FRESH" position and insert a screwdriver into the service hole.
1 - transmission lever,
2 - cable,
3 - cable retainer,
4 - service hole.
3. Connect the cable to the transmission lever.
4. Secure the cable with the clamp.
5. Make sure that the regulator moves within the required range.
Air flow direction change flap drive cable
1. Set the regulator to the "DEFROSTER" position.
2. Turn the air flow direction change flap control lever to the "DEFROSTER" position and insert a screwdriver into the service hole.
1 - cable retainer,
2 - service hole,
3 - transmission lever,
4 - cable.
3. Connect the cable to the transmission lever.
4. Secure the cable with the clamp.
5. Make sure that the regulator moves within the required range.
