1. Before disassembling, clean the outside surface of the gearbox with a steam cleaner or solvent.

Caution: Using compressed air to clean will cause dirt to spray and contaminate other parts. Use safety glasses to protect your eyes when cleaning with compressed air.


2. Clean the parts to be removed with solvent and dry with compressed air.

3. Clean all openings with compressed air.

4. Make sure all parts are clean before installation.

5. Apply lubricant to all moving parts.

6. Before applying the sealant, clean the contact surfaces from old sealant.

7. The gearbox can be filled with working fluid no less than 2 hours after assembly.
