Cardan shaft — check (Mazda BT-50 (1))

1. Check all parts, repair or replace faulty ones if necessary.

2. Using a dial indicator, measure the radial runout of the driveshaft.

• Maximum runout - 0.4 mm

If the runout exceeds the maximum allowable value, replace the driveshaft assembly.

3. By moving the movable joints in the directions indicated by the arrow, make sure that there is no significant play in the joints.

If significant play or excessive tightening torque is detected, replace the driveshaft assembly.

• Tightening torque - 0.26 - 1.76 Nm
