1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the rear pillar trims (see section "Interior trim").

3. Disconnect the rear window heating connector.

4. Remove the roof trim (see section "Interior trim").

5. From inside the vehicle, use a slotted screwdriver to detach the edge of the glass seal from the vehicle body.

6. After detaching the seal, carefully press on the glass and detach it from the body.

7. Remove the rear glass.

Installation



1. Clean and degrease the contact surfaces of the glass and the body along the entire perimeter.

2. Install the seal on the rear window.

3. Install the ∅ 4.5 mm cord into the glass seal groove and pull out the ends of the cord by 200 mm.

4. To facilitate installation, apply soapy water to the contact surface of the body and the seal.

5. Align the edge of the rear window seal with the edge of the glass opening.

6. Ask an assistant to press on the outside edges of the glass along the entire perimeter of the glass opening.

At the same time, pull the free ends of the cord and install the glass on the car body.

7. Check and repair leaky connections.



a) After the curing time has elapsed, check the connection for leaks.

b) Seal any leaks with automotive glass sealant.

8. Install all removed elements.
