Removal and installation
Caution: Do not drop the deceleration sensor when removing/installing.
1. Move the front passenger seat all the way back.
2. Remove the parts in the order they are numbered in the assembly drawing "Removing and installing the deceleration sensor".
Removal and installation the deceleration sensor.
1 - deceleration sensor connector,
2 - deceleration sensor assembly with bracket,
3 - deceleration sensor.
Note: Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Examination
Turn on the ignition. Measure the voltage between terminals "A" and "B" of the deceleration sensor connector.

Replace the deceleration sensor if necessary.
a) Place the sensor horizontally and measure the voltage.
- Voltage - 2.5 + 0.1 V
b) Install the sensor as shown in the figure and measure the voltage.
- Voltage - 1.5±0.2 V
l) Install the sensor as shown in the figure and measure the voltage.
- Voltage - 3.5±0.2 V
