2. Check the gap between the wheel speed sensor and the sensor rotor.
a) Remove the rear wheel speed sensor.
b) Measure the distances "A" and "B" shown in the figure.
c) Calculate the gap between the wheel speed sensor and the sensor rotor using the formula: gap ="A" - "B".
- Nominal clearance - 0.3 - 1.1 mm

3. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor connector and measure the resistance.
- Nominal resistance - 1.2 - 1.6 kOhm
If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the wheel speed sensor.
4. Check the voltage at the wheel speed sensor connector.
a) Jack it up (install on stands) automobile.
Data provided by the website: mazbook.ru
b) Disconnect the wheel speed sensor connector.
c) Check the voltage at the terminals of each wheel speed sensor by rotating the wheel at a speed of 1 rpm.
- Nominal voltage - 0.12 - 1.2 V (AC)
If the voltage does not meet the established standards, replace the wheel speed sensor.
5. Check the wheel speed sensor voltage waveform.
a) Jack it up (place on safe stands) automobile.
b) Disconnect the wheel speed sensor connector.
c) Using an oscilloscope, check that the voltage waveform is free of distortion and interference. Rotate the appropriate wheel while checking.

If the voltage waveform is distorted or does not match the one shown in the figure, check the wheel speed sensor rotor.
