1. Use fender covers, seat covers and floor mats to protect your vehicle from dirt and damage.

2. When disassembling, arrange the parts in the proper order to facilitate subsequent assembly.

3. Observe the following rules:
  • a) Before working on electrical equipment, disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
  • b) If it is necessary to disconnect the battery for a check or repair work, be sure to first disconnect the cable from the negative (-) terminal, which is connected to the car body.
  • c) When carrying out welding work, disconnect the battery and the connectors of the electronic control unit.

4. Check the reliability and correctness of the fastening of the couplings and hose fittings and wire connectors.

5. Parts that cannot be reused.

a) The MAZDA company recommends replacing the split pins, sealing gaskets, etc. with new ones.

b) Parts that cannot be reused are marked in the drawings with the symbol "".

6. Before carrying out work in the paint booth, disconnect and remove the battery and electronic control unit from the vehicle.

7. If necessary, apply a sealing compound to the sealing gaskets to prevent leaks.

8. Carefully observe all technical specifications regarding the tightening torque values of threaded connections. It is imperative to use a torque wrench.

9. Depending on the nature of the repair being performed, it may be necessary to use special materials and special tools for maintenance and repair.

10. When replacing blown fuses, ensure that the new fuse is rated for the proper amperage. Do not exceed this current rating or insert a fuse of a higher rating.

11. When jacking up a vehicle and placing it on supports, appropriate safety precautions must be observed. It is necessary to ensure that the vehicle is lifted and supported in the places intended for this purpose

a) If the vehicle is to be jacked up only at the front or rear, care must be taken to ensure that the wheels on the opposite axle are securely blocked for safety purposes.

b) Immediately after jacking up the car, it is imperative to place it on stands. It is extremely dangerous to carry out any work on a car suspended only by one jack.

Attention:
  • Prolonged and repeated contact of oil with the skin causes dryness, irritation and dermatitis, and in some cases used oil can cause skin cancer.
  • When changing the oil, it is recommended to use oil-resistant gloves to avoid contact with it. When washing your hands, use soap and water; it is not recommended to use gasoline, strippers, and solvents.
  • Used oil and filters must be collected in specially prepared containers.
