1. The kit includes several keys. Depending on the model configuration, keys can be with or without an immobilizer system. Any key allows you to start the engine, unlock all doors, including the rear door.

Note: Write down the key number and keep it in a safe place. If you lose the key, a duplicate can be made by your Mazda dealer using the number.

The front doors can be locked from the outside without a key. To do this, pull the door handle and, while holding it, move the door lock button to the "Lock" position and close the door.



To close the rear side doors, move the door lock button to the "Lock" position and close the door. There is no need to hold the door handle.

3. (Models with central locking) When the driver's door is unlocked or locked with the key, all side doors are automatically unlocked/locked.

Note: When unlocking the doors with the key, the interior light will turn on if the switch on the interior light is set to the "DOOR" position.


At the same time, when the driver's door is locked with the key or the lock button, all doors are locked. The turn signals will flash once and the anti-theft system will be activated.

Note: If one of the doors or the hood is not fully closed when the driver's door is locked, the direction indicators will not flash.


4. (Models with remote door lock control system) Some models are equipped with a remote control central locking system. Unlocking and locking of the side doors is carried out by pressing a button on the remote control central locking.

The distance to the vehicle should be no more than 2.5 m.

Note: The remote keyless entry system will not operate if the ignition key is in the ignition switch, any door is not closed properly, or the transmitter battery is dead. The battery replacement procedure is described in Chapter "Body electrical equipment".
