1. Turning on the side lights, headlights, instrument cluster and license plate lighting.

Note: The headlight and turn signal switch operates regardless of the position of the key in the ignition switch.


a) When you turn the switch handle until the first click, the side lights, instrument cluster and license plate illumination are turned on.

Note:
  • If the headlights have not been turned off and the key has been removed from the ignition, a beep will sound when the driver's door is opened.
  • To avoid draining the battery, do not leave the headlights on for long periods of time when the engine is off.


2. (Models with DRL system) The Daytime Running Light (DRL) system operates when the ignition is on and the headlamp switch is in the "OFF" position (the lights are off). When the DRL system is operating, the front and rear side lights, license plate light and low beam headlights are turned on.

3. To turn on the high beam headlights, push the switch away from you. To turn off the high beam headlights and turn on the low beam headlights, pull the switch toward you.



4. To briefly turn on the high beam headlights (high beam headlight alarm) pull the switch towards you until it stops, then release it.

5. To turn on the turn signal, move the switch up or down. The switch will automatically return to its original position after completing the turn. However, when changing lanes, you may need to manually return the switch to the neutral position.

To activate the lane change signal, move the switch up or down until you feel resistance and hold it in this position.

Caution: If the turn signal indicators on the instrument cluster flash more frequently than usual, the front or rear turn signal bulb has burned out.


6. (Modifications) Fog lights only work when low beam is on.

To turn on the fog lights, move the control to the "ON" position.

To turn on the fog lights, move the control to the «ON» position.


When the fog lights are switched on, the indicator on the instrument cluster lights up (see the section "Instruments, gauges and indicators of the instrument cluster").

To turn off, press the switch again.

7. The hazard warning lights are turned on by pressing the button located in the central part of the instrument panel. The button illumination turns on and the direction indicators flash. To turn off the hazard warning lights, press the button again.
