Note:
- After the vehicle reaches 180,000 km or 144 months of operation, continue to perform maintenance in accordance with the established schedule and frequency.
- Based on the results of a visual inspection or instrumental check of the functioning of the vehicle systems, the necessary maintenance operations must be performed (adjustment, cleaning or replacement - in accordance with the requirements of the maintenance schedule). (Check condition and replace air cleaner element if necessary.)
Exhaust gas aftertreatment system and related engine systems
The ignition system and the fuel supply system play a very important role in terms of neutralizing harmful emissions into the atmosphere and ensuring efficient engine operation. It is forbidden to interfere with the design of the above engine systems.
All checks and adjustments to engine systems should only be performed by an Authorized Mazda Dealer.

*5 If there is a marking on or near the radiator cap «FL22», use FL22 coolant. When changing the coolant in the engine cooling system, use FL22 brand fluid.
*6 If the vehicle's brakes are heavily loaded (e.g. when driving dynamically, when operating the vehicle in mountainous terrain) or when the air humidity is very high, the brake fluid should be changed annually.
*7 If at least one of the following conditions is typical for the operation of the car, then it is necessary to change the gear oil in the final drive of the rear axle every 45,000 km of run:
- A) towing a trailer or using a roof rack;
- b) operation of the car in dusty conditions, on polluted or wet roads;
- V) prolonged idling of the engine or prolonged movement of the vehicle at low speed;
- G) regular car trips over short distances (up to 16 km).
*8 If this transmission unit is completely or partially submerged in water, change the oil immediately.
*9 Periodic wheel rotation is recommended every 10,000 km.
*10 Check the expiration date of the tire repair kit every time you service your vehicle. The sealant bottle should be replaced with a new one before its expiration date.
Note:
- «P» - check and, if necessary, clean, repair, adjust, top up or replace.
- «W» - replace.
- «ABOUT» - clean up.
- «T» - pull up.
- «WITH» - lubricate.
*1 In addition, check the condition and tension of the air conditioning compressor drive belt (if present in the vehicle). If at least one of the following conditions is typical for the operation of the car, then it is necessary to check the condition of the auxiliary drive belts every 7500 km or every six months:
- A) high dust content of the air;
- b) prolonged idling of the engine or prolonged movement of the vehicle at low speed;
- V) long-term operation at low ambient temperatures or regular trips only for short distances (when the engine does not have time to warm up to normal operating temperature);
- G) car operation at very high air temperature;
- d) constant operation of the car in hilly and mountainous areas.
*2 If your vehicle is subject to any of the following conditions, change the engine oil and oil filter every 7,500 km or every six months:
- A) high dust content of the air;
- b) prolonged idling of the engine or prolonged movement of the vehicle at low speed;
- V) continuous operation at low air temperatures or regular trips only for short distances (when the engine does not have time to warm up to normal operating temperature);
- G) car operation at very high air temperature;
- d) constant operation of the car in hilly and mountainous areas.
*3 If at least one of the following conditions is typical for the operation of the car, then it is necessary to change the engine oil every 2500 km or after three months:
- A) high dust content of the air;
- b) prolonged idling of the engine or prolonged movement of the vehicle at low speed;
- V) continuous operation at low air temperatures or regular trips only for short distances (when the engine does not have time to warm up to normal operating temperature);
- G) car operation at very high air temperature;
- d) constant operation of the car in hilly and mountainous areas.

- A) high dust content of the air;
- b) prolonged idling of the engine or prolonged movement of the vehicle at low speed;
- V) long-term operation at low ambient temperatures or regular trips only for short distances (when the engine does not have time to warm up to normal operating temperature);
- G) car operation at very high air temperature;
- d) constant operation of the car in hilly and mountainous areas.
*5 If there is a marking on or near the radiator cap «FL22», use FL22 coolant. When changing the coolant in the engine cooling system, use FL22 brand fluid.
*6 If the vehicle is operated in a very dusty environment, clean the air cleaner element every 7500 km or every six months of vehicle operation.
