Removal and installation the driver's airbag
1. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" position.
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 1 minute.
3. Remove the driver's airbag in the sequence of numbers shown in the figure.
1 - bolt,
2 - connector,
3 - driver's airbag.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
5. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
6. Check that the SRS indicator comes on for approximately 6 seconds and then goes out.
If the indicator does not light, remains on, or flashes, the system is faulty. Perform diagnostics.
Notes on removal
1. Using a slotted screwdriver, remove the locking plate from the connector as shown in the figure.

2. Disconnect the connector.
Removal and installation the front passenger airbag
1. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" position.
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 1 minute.
3. Remove the front passenger airbag in the sequence of numbers shown in the figure.

2 - bolts,
3 - front passenger airbag.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
5. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
6. Check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes out. If the indicator does not come on, remains on, or flashes, the system is faulty. Perform diagnostics.
Removal and installation side airbag
1. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" position.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for at least 1 minute.
3. Remove the side airbag in the sequence of numbers shown in the figure.
1 - plug,
2 - bolt,
3 - side airbag,
4 - connector.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
5. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
6. Check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes out. If the indicator does not come on, remains on, or flashes, the system is faulty. Perform diagnostics.
