Vehicle check
1. Remove the glow plug rail.
2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the glow plug lead and the cylinder head (weight).
- Rated resistance at 20°C - 1.4 Ohm
Replace spark plugs if necessary.
Removal and installation
Attention:
- Remove glow plugs only if they need to be replaced.
- Do not allow glow plugs to fall, hit other parts, or damage the heating part of the glow plug.
1. Remove the engine trim panel.
2. Disconnect the wire from the expected battery terminal.
3. Remove the fuel accumulator (see chapter "fuel injection system").
4. Remove the glow plugs in the order shown in the illustration.
1 - tire of glow plugs,
2 - glow plug.
5. Install in reverse order.
Glow Plug Removal Note
Loosen the glow plug one turn using the tool. Next, unscrew the candle by hand.
Glow plug installation note
Fit glow plugs. Tighten using a special tool.
- Tightening torque - 15-20 Nm
