Removal
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery with the ignition off.
Note: This will erase the data in the electronic memory units. See the instructions in the chapter "Electrical equipment".
Remove the license plate lights.
Mark the position of the rear wheels relative to the hubs so that they can be reinstalled in their original positions. Loosen the wheel nuts with the vehicle on the ground. Raise and support the vehicle and remove the rear wheels.

Unscrew one bolt (1) on the left and one on the right.
Drill out four rivets.

Drill out two rivets from the bottom of the bumper.
Drill out three rivets from the top side of the bumper at the rear.
Remove the rear lights.
Unhook the holder clips from the side of the tail lights.

Press out three clips in the rear wheel arches.
Unscrew the bumper fasteners from the body and remove the bumper from the back of the car with the help of an assistant.
Installation
Insert the bumper with an assistant from behind, align it with the holes and push it in until it stops.
Tighten the bumper fasteners.
Secure the bumper with clamps in the wheel arches and on the side mounts.
Install the rear lights.
Install license plate lights.
Secure the bumper with rivets.
Screw one bolt into each wheel arch.
Install the rear wheels in accordance with the marks made earlier, having first lightly lubricated the central socket of the disk with consistent grease. Do not lubricate the threads of the wheel studs. Tighten the wheel nuts. Lower the car and tighten the wheel nuts crosswise to a torque of 90 Nm.
Connect the negative cable to the battery.
Set the clock readings and enter security codes if necessary.
