Removing
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery with the ignition off.
Attention: This will erase the data from the electronic memory blocks. See instructions in chapter «electrical equipment».
Remove door trim.
Pry out the inner mirror cover with a screwdriver and remove it. At the same time, put a piece of paper under the screwdriver so as not to damage it.
Press the mirror switch out of the cover and pull off the plug.
Pull off the protective film at the front of the door, fold it back and secure with adhesive tape. At the same time, do not stick adhesive tape on the adhesive layer of the film, so as not to impair its properties.
Disconnect the exterior mirror wiring harness plug, remove the adhesive tape from the door.
Unscrew the three screws securing the mirror and remove it. At the same time, hold the mirror outside so that it does not fall.
Installation
Insert the mirror from the outside, pull the wire through the hole in the door. Fix the mirror with bolts.
Attach the wiring harness plug. Secure the wire to the door with duct tape.
Peel off the protective film and stick it to the door.
Attention: The film must be glued evenly and without wrinkles, otherwise it will be drawn into the car. Seal small cracks with duct tape. In case of major damage, replace the protective foil.
Insert the mirror switch into the cover. Install the mirror cover and secure it.
Install door trim.
Connect the negative cable to the battery.
Set the clock and, if necessary, enter the required codes.
