A normal charger can be used to charge the battery. The battery can also be charged with a special device for fast charging. The charging current should be from 3 to 25 A; charging voltage - from 14 to 15.5 V.
Charge the battery only in the open air or in a well-ventilated area.
If the electrolyte level is low, for example when operating in hot weather, add distilled water.
If the car has not been used for more than 6 weeks, remove the battery and recharge it. The optimal storage temperature for the battery is from 0 to 27°C. At these temperatures, self-discharge of the battery is minimal. After three months of storage, the battery must be recharged.
Regularly clean the battery contacts and lubricate them with petroleum jelly or a special protective lubricant.
Jump starters should only be used in exceptional cases, as a very high current will flow through the battery for a short time. If the battery has been stored for a long time, it should not be charged with a quick charger.
Caution: Do not operate the starting device without simultaneously engaging the starter.
