Checking the hub bearing (Mazda BT-50 (1))

1. By pushing and pulling the wheel hub with your hands in the axial direction, check for axial clearance in the hub bearing.

2. Make sure that the wheel rotates smoothly and without sticking.

Check the bearing for any extraneous noise.

3. Measure the bearing clearance.
  • Maximum allowable clearance is 0.05 mm

Note: If a malfunction occurs, adjust the bearing preload or replace the bearing.
