Not active (Dead)
  • The ignition key is in the "ON", "ACC" or "LOCK" position.

Arming mode (Arming 1)


  • The doors are locked and the hood is closed.
  • The direction indicators should flash twice to confirm that the system is armed.
  • The indicator will flash at 3 second intervals. The system is in the security mode.

Panic Mode 1 (Alarm 1)
  • The door or hood is opened without using the key or the ignition switch circuit is closed. The siren sounds for 25 seconds and the turn signals flash for 4.5 minutes.
  • The siren will sound again if you attempt to open or close the doors or hood without using the key for a period of 25 seconds to 4.5 minutes.
