When the parking brake is applied, the parking brake status and low brake fluid indicator in the instrument cluster will illuminate and remain illuminated until the parking brake is released (see section "Instrument cluster indicators").
To release the parking brake, press the brake pedal, lightly pull the parking brake lever, turn it and press it.
Warning: Do not start driving with the parking brake on. Otherwise, this will lead to wear and overheating of the brake system components, i.e. to a drop in braking efficiency.
