Attention:
  • It is strictly forbidden to tow 4WD vehicles using the partial loading method, i.e. by raising one of the vehicle axles.

Caution: Use extreme caution when towing your vehicle. Avoid sudden starts and abrupt maneuvers that may place excessive force on the towing rope. The towing rope may break and cause serious injury or damage.


It is advisable to tow the vehicle in a fully submerged condition. When towing, secure the vehicle using special hooks.

If it is not possible to tow the vehicle while submerged, it is possible to tow the vehicle on wheels.

When towing a vehicle, perform the following operations:

1. Attach the rope to the towing hook.

2. Release the parking brake.

3. Set the gear shift lever to neutral position.

4. Set the transfer case control lever to the "2H" position and press the "FRW" switch.

5. The ignition key must be in the "ACC" position (the engine is not working) or "ON" (the engine is running).

Note: If the engine is not running, the brake and power steering will also not work, so the effort required to operate the controls will be significantly greater than normal.


5. Use caution when towing a stuck vehicle. Stay clear of vehicles and the towing rope.
