Examination



1. Pull the parking brake lever several times.

2. Press the brake pedal several times.

3. Check the stroke of the parking brake lever. Slowly lift the lever with a force of 98 N, counting the audible clicks.
  • Lever travel: 1 - 7 clicks

Adjustment



1. Before starting the adjustment, press the brake pedal several times while moving the vehicle backward.

3. Turn the adjusting nut "B" of the parking brake cable to adjust the stroke of the parking brake lever.

4. After adjustment, tighten the lock nut.
  • Tightening torque - 7 - 10 Nm

5. After adjustment, perform the following checks:

a) Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, pull the parking brake lever just one click, make sure the parking brake indicator comes on.

b) Make sure the rear wheels rotate freely with the parking brake released.

If necessary, readjust the parking brake lever travel.
