Removal and installation
Note: When installing stands on the left or right side of the vehicle, place a jack under the rear gearbox and raise/lower as needed.
Remove the parts, guided by the assembly drawing "Removal and installation of the shock absorber and rear suspension spring".
Note:
- Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
- After installation, lower the vehicle to load the suspension and finally tighten the front spring bolt.
Checking the rear shock absorber
1. Remove the front shock absorber from the vehicle.
2. Check the shock absorber for damage or leaks.
3. Check the rubber bush for damage and wear.
4. Squeeze and stretch the shock absorber at least three times. Make sure that the resistance to movement does not change, and there are no extraneous sounds.
A) Squeeze the shock absorber and release it.
b) Make sure the stem comes out completely at normal speed.
If necessary, replace shock absorber.
